In light of the devastation in Haiti, we decided to feature Alejandro Guzman's "Haitian Generals" on the cover of Volume III, Issue 1. The piece is part of a larger series of drawings, which Guzman hopes will encourage people to look to the past as inspiration for how to rebuild Haiti. This issue also features a Q&A with Emmy-nominated illustrator Wayne Coe, photos by Alzo Slade, and much more including a heart-breaking, but triumphant autobiographical story by Emily Carmen. We've also added some new features and a color-coded layout. Click here to read INSIGHT vIII.1 now (right click and select "Save As" to download the pdf). |
